- Brush House can offer a basic web site hosting service to you for as low a cost of just £5 per month.
- What does £5 per month buy? A site on your behalf consisting of a "Home" page and up to three other linked pages carrying the information you require, consisting of both text and pictures.
- Can I have a "Domain Name"? Yes, for a relatively small fee you could have a good ".co.uk Domain Name" for the site (e.g. www.yourname.co.uk) making it easy for others to locate, which would be your property and registered to you.
- What about setting up costs? For the four page site mentioned above - none! All included in the basic £5 per month fee. For a site requiring more than the four pages then there would be an additional charge at the beginning, but the subsequent monthly fee could still be £5.
- What happens if you want a different name, for example, a dot.com name? No problem, but these names can attract a higher charge. If you are thinking of going down this road, please ask for further details.
- What about up-dating costs? For up to one hour's work a month - none. All included in the basic monthly fee. To up-date your page simply send the new information by e-mail or post and the site will be up-dated. Anything over the one hour per month, or a complete re-write, would attract an extra charge dependant on the work involved.
- What happens should you decide after a while that you don't wish to continue? Easy, the site is deleted, you pay no more but still have ownership of the Domain Name.
- What happens should you decide after a while that you want to run the site yourself? Simply write to advise what you want to do, stop paying the monthly fee and the information necessary to access the site from your own computer will be sent to you.
